What is counselling and psychotherapy?
Short term therapy is about focusing on and addressing a particular concern or problem. Longer term work involves looking more deeply at underlying patterns and unresolved conflicts.
You may not have a problem at all but you may want to have Counselling and/or Psychotherapy to find out more about yourself and perhaps achieve personal growth.
My style of working enables me to be flexible and use different approaches in the process. These include supporting you through difficult emotions, exploring how the difficulties in your present life may be influenced by unresolved issues from the past, paying attention to how emotions are held in the body and the implications this may have on your overall health, working with dreams and giving meaning to their images, and also giving a space to reflect on your own individuality.
I work on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
